Kelsey Grammer & Jets Coach Rex Ryan's Sex Life Isn't Our Business

Kelsey Grammer & Rex Ryan Are Private Celebrities

Howard Stern is well known for bringing out the "private parts" of his guests. For years, amid many celebrity scandals, the playful shock jock has proven himself one of the best interviewers around - right Oprah? From the Jessica Hahn, Jim and Tammy Faye Baker scandal, to tales of Julie Cypher, the lesbian wife of Lou Diamond Phillips, Howard Stern deftly wrings out the best of the worst from his interviewees. Now, Stern's show is the place where Camille Grammer hinted that Kelsey Grammer cross dresses.

It comes on the heels of another prominent "sexual scandal", that of Rex Ryan, head coach of the NY Jets. The football guru walked softly while at the center of a foot fetish fiasco, when a video purporting to be of Ryan's wife surfaced. The suggestive film made it seem as if Ryan was addicted to feet fun. TMZ and all the other terrible tabloids greedily ate up the foot fodder. Yet Ryan still acts as a professional football team coach. His sports team depends on him for guidance. Kelsey Grammer still stars in the Broadway smash hit "La Cage Aux Folles."

Feet fun. Cross dressing. So what? Who's business is it anyway?

It's akin to the constant questing in Hollywood over sexual orientation. Who's a gay guy? Who's a lesbian lass? Sure, when stars as famous and respected as Ricky Martin or Lance Bass come out of the closet, then it's definitely newsworthy. It becomes newsworthy because that individual is ready to reveal more about their private life. However, there's always a line to be drawn, one concerning too much information, too much detail. Ricky Martin admits he's gay, but he's not saying what he actually likes in bed with his partner. Lance Bass refuses to pretend he's straight anymore, however the specific things he desires in the romance department are only his and his partner's business.

Kelsey Grammer seems to be playing it quite cool, and acting as both gentleman and a real professional. When asked about the controversy, Grammer brushes it off and has no comment. Good for you, Kelsey. Who cares what any of us do in the privacy of our own home. The only things the public should be judging celebrities on - or any of us - is how well we work, behave and conduct ourselves in the public square.

Agreed. Besides, I like Frasier Crane and don't care for his publicity hound ex anyway. As for Rex Ryan, if he digs her feet and she digs it, BFD!

Well stated, and I agree. The lives of celebrities tend to bore me anyway. Same with royalty.
