A full day would be required to visit each and every shop, but it is worth it and lots of fun.

There are many sailboats docked out of Kemah. Boat watching is a fun activity in itself. The many varieties of sailboats constantly go past in the bay and it is fascinating to get to watch them so close up. You can also walk along the docks and take a look at all the different sailboats that are out there at Kemah.

Kemah is a great summer weekend destination. The Boardwalk Inn, located right in the middle is really something to see in itself. The rooms are semi-circular around the attractions of Kemah. The balconies overlook the boardwalk, so when you need to relax you can still take in the atmosphere. The lobby is very pretty and not to be missed. They also have meeting rooms for this such as wedding receptions.
