Your voice has been my comfort
The days I've needed to run
And lose the mind God gave me
You've been there and expected nothing
Except my honest friendship
But you've been my friend and I love that
Through the tough rocks I've faced
I listen to Karen Carptenter sing tonight
And I ponder you, my zen friend Ken
Your words of wisdom make much sense
I am young and make mistakes
You never ever judge me and always accept
Can I say how much that means to me
The depression has loomed dark
Yet you say that it is no one but me
You tell me I control my moods and thoughts
Ken, I thought long and hard on those words
It was completely correct and I agree
Thankyou for your guidance and trust
God bless you, Ken
My Zen Master Ken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Post a CommentNice tribute.
Kady, I love your writing. You have more guts than I do. I only post the "happy" stuff. You write from the heart, and aren't afraid to share it even if it's sad. I love it when you're happy, though.
Fantastic tribute!
fabulous work !!!
This is such a wonderful tribute, Miss Kady, I am speechless, but let me see what I can muster up. Thank you, thank you, thank you, as someone famous used to say. Now if I could only think up something funny to say. Oh I know: Ge eadmod anwealda min sawol. (You humble me ruler of my soul). I only have words and what you do with them is up to you. Thank you so very much Miss Kady. Ken
aww that was so sweet and thanks for doing such a wonderful job on here. i enjoy your work and so glad i find you.
Hiya sis....I am sure that Ken is just going to love this poem...it is beautiful.. and so are you. Hugs.
Hey Kady, we must be on the same wavelength right now because our poems today look a lot alike; mine for Web and my friend Kate and yours here for Ken have the same format- I'm in really good company. Your such a beautiful person to know and I thank of the poem you wrote for me and how it made me smile and still does and I know Ken must fill the same about this coming from you. This is really tender and thoughtful poetry. WOW WEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!WOWEEE!!!!!!!AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!(I'm just messing with your style here Kady) Great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
