Kendra Embarrassed by Sex Tape (Video)

Kendra Wilkinson is embarrassed she has a sex tape. At least, that's what she told Ryan Seacrest in a very emotional interview today on E!Online.

In the interview, a choked up Kendra lamented the timing of the sex tape release saying, "Just when I cleaned up my life....." it had to come out.

As a mother, I can certainly empathize with Kendra's regrets. There is not a responsible mother out there that does not regret certain decisions or behavior she may have engaged in prior to becoming a parent. I think it is often spoken of as, "strident in my youth." Yeah, Kendra, been there.

I also suspect that Kendra Wilkinson will regret her very own strident- in- my- youth- indiscretions even more as she gets older. You think you're regretting some of your indiscretions as 24, Kendra? Talk to me when your 54. Oy.

I'm having a tough time though, understanding how Kendra can say, as she did in the interview, "I'm a very open person" (no kidding, chick) and then have emotional regrets. I don't know. It doesn't quite reconcile if you ask me.

I mean, she knew the tape(s) were out there. Some reports say that Kendra Wilkinson was trying to shop the tape(s) herself - just around the time she met and became engaged to Hank Baskett.

On top of this, she knew she was a Playboy bunny, right? Who did she think Hugh Hefner was? Just a nice "grandpa" type, whose lap she could sit on and drink coca-cola floats or something? Hello?

And she had to know she was being filmed during the Girls Next Door reality show when she would raise her shirt and bare her assets for the entire world to see. (Yup. Saw them.) I mean, really. You do remember that, right? Kendra?

But, I get it. She's a married woman now. She's also a mother. Motherhood is a game changer for pretty much everybody. So, I will grant her the right to have a few regrets.

But, I would probably have a little more sympathy for her if she put her money - nearly $1,000,000 to be exact - where her mouth is and give back the cash she banked when she wheeled her deal with the video company.

So, yeah, you might be embarrassed, Kendra, but I suspect you're embarrassed and laughing. All the way to bank.
