Kennedy's Immigration Deal - Agreement Finally Reached?

A Path Now Open for 12 Million Illegal Aliens

ROCCO
Have the Senate negotiations finally reached an agreement on Kennedy's Immigration Deal? If agreed, the Kennedy Immigration Deal will open a clear path to citizenship for 12 million illegal aliens.

Some of the highlights from Kennedy's Immigration Deal include:

- Illegal aliens will be allowed to collect Social Security benefits based on past illegal work.

- Complete amnesty for employers who have illegally hired the millions of aliens and provided the jobs that drew them here in the first place

- The U.S. required to consult with Mexican Officials before commencement of any fence construction along the border.

- A path to citizenship to illegals who have crossed the border, counterfited documentation, committed Social Security Fraud and cheated on taxes.

- Discounted in-state tuition rates at State Colleges and Universities for illegal aliens who reside in that state.

The vote is scheduled for Monday next and if it is passed, the floor debate will be cut off after 30 hours of extra debate time. A statement from the Senate says;

"Multiple Senate sources confirm that, despite Senator Kennedy's and others' statements, "no bill presently exists and probably won't until monday at the earliest" because the "lawyers are still behind closed doors piecing it together". Senate sources also confirmed that "the bill will probably not be online or available to the public in its final form until the Senate has voted for it.

The Senators were handed a 1,000 page text outline of the Immigration Bill late on Friday and are expected to vote for it on Monday. Whilst there are some Senators firmly against this bill which will allow illegal aliens and their current employers amnesty, this Bill is expected to pass through the Senate even though only a few days were allowed for the Senators to completely look over this 1,000 page document.

If you look at the timeframe given to the Senators, a weekend to trawl through 1,000 page legal document you might ask yourself; "what could I do in a weekend?." These Senators are expected to alter the US's outlook on immigration laws and to so between a Friday and a Monday. Something seems not right here. Could Kennedy be deliberately trying to rush this legislation through the Senate?
