Kenneth Cole was founded about 20 years ago and started out as a shoe company in midtown Manhattan, New York, in a trailer. Kenneth Cole designs a variety of clothes, accessories and fragrances for both men and women.
Launched in 2009, Vintage Black is one of the newer fragrances for men by Kenneth Cole. It comes in a black/white 3.4 oz. bottle and has a very rich, masculine scent to it that is fresh, appealing, and sophisticated. I do not like many fragrances on the market today for men, but this one is exceptional and has a scent that I would love to smell on a man. It is made with lavender buds, green lime, icy tequila accord, pink grapefruit, dewy greens, oak, sandalwood, and white pepper.
Kenneth Cole Vintage Black is a very classy and versatile fragrance that can be worn by a man in the day or evening and at work or at a casual event. The fragrance is rich yet not over powering. Kenneth Cole Vintage Black is not strongly sweet or fruity, even though it is infused with the essences of pink grapefruit and green lime. Because the fragrance is a mixture of oak, sandalwood, and white pepper, it is perfectly balanced, which makes the fragrance richly masculine and not as fruity. I do not like fruity fragrances on a man, except if it is comprised of the essence of lime mixed with lavender.
Kenneth Cole knew exactly what he was doing when he designed Kenneth Cole Vintage Black. It's new, fresh, and is the perfect fragrance for a man that wants to smell clean, feel confident and sophisticated.
Kenneth Cole Vintage Black is a fragrance that I would like to smell on a man anytime of the year. I really cannot say anything negative about this fragrance. If I could rate this fragrance on a scale between 1 and 10, I would give it a 10.
