Kenny's Spirited Eatery located at 1134 Street Road in Southampton, Pennsylvania is a classy, yet comfortable bar and restaurant that's been around for three generations. Opened in 1955, Kenny's has been a hot spot for fun and entertainment for locals and visitors alike.

The bar and restaurant are clean and the staff is exciting. The food is fabulous, the drinks are strong and the atmosphere is just plain fun. Kenny's serves over 25 beer varieties in bottles, and also has ten beers on tap, including the local favorite Yuengling Lager, Blue Moon and Flying Fish, as well as their Southampton Secret Ale, which changes monthly. Kenny's also serves various varieties of wine, champagne and mixed drinks.

The food menu is exciting and innovative. From starters such as Portabella & Crab, a grilled mushroom stuffed with crabmeat and smoky mozzarella cheese to Lite Fare picks like Nachos made with red and blue tortilla chips topped with chili, jalapeno peppers, scallions, Pico de Galo, cheddar and pepper jack cheeses and sour cream, you're sure to find something wonderful to start your meal at Kenny's Spirited Eatery.

Soups and salads are also a great way to begin your meal. Kenny's serves a fabulous French Onion soup, with a rich beef stock, sweet onions, three different cheeses and delicious seasonings. They also carry Shepard's Pie, which is a dish featuring ground beef, carrots and peas with a crisp mashed potato crust. Their salads are equally exciting, my favorite is the Orange Walnut salad; the combination of endive, radicchio, spinach, walnuts, mandarin oranges and feta cheese is fabulous when tossed with their champagne vinaigrette dressing. Other salads include a simple garden variety as well as a thrilling Tuna salad, with sesame crusted tuna filet cooked perfectly before being tossed with grilled hearts of romaine and spicy cashew nuts, topped with a wonderful cucumber wasabi dressing. Other dressings available are the Strawberry Poppy Seed Vinaigrette and the Chipolte Ranch, along with more traditional options including Balsamic Vinaigrette, Blue Cheese, Honey Mustard and Caesar.

Kenny's entrees are also wonderful. The Baby Back Ribs, smothered in a hickory smoked BBQ sauce and served with cole slaw and fries is filling and delicious. The Chicken dish is also a must-try, with almond crusted breasts asparagus, shiitake mushrooms and amaretto sauce, served over a bed of jasmine rice. The Sachetti is the best! It's little pasta pouches stuffed with cheese and crabmeat with cherry tomatoes, arugula and pesto, tossed in a rich, yet light, blush sauce. All of the entrees at Kenny's are moderately priced, and the value is exceptional, as Kenny's doesn't lack in either quality of quantity.

For lunch, try one of Kenny's sandwiches. The Green Chili Burger is my husband's favorite, it's an Angus burger topped with Muenster cheese, fried onions, jalapenos and salsa. My burger pick is the BBQ burger, with bacon, pickles, cheddar cheese and onion rings, smothered in a tasty BBQ sauce. The Roast Pork sandwich is another family favorite; it's roasted red peppers, provolone cheese served with gravy on a long roll is completely fantastic.

Other great sandwich options include Kenny's French Dip, a top round sirloin that's been roasted, served on a toasted roll topped with fried onions, American cheese and a special Guinness au jus gravy. The Cuban, a sandwich featuring roasted pork, ham and pickles, Swiss cheese and mustard on toasted ciabatta bread is equally tasty.

Kenny's has entertainment available many nights of the week. Bands and DJs help pump up the atmosphere, making it a truly fun and exciting environment. For fun, food and drinks, be sure to visit Kenny's Spirited Eatery.
