Where and When to Watch the Kentucky Derby
The 135th Kentucky Derby is held at Churchill Downs on Saturday, May 2, 2009. Live national coverage from Churchill Downs begins as early Friday morning on ESPN2 on the "Mike and Mike in the Morning" show from 6:00 am to 10:00 am ET. Bravo will showcase the fun and fashion of the Kentucky Derby with their "Ladies' First: Bravo at the Kentucky Derby," on Friday evening from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm ET.
On race day, ESPN kicks off the "Race for the Roses" with their "Today at the Kentucky Derby" special beginning at noon ET, followed by "The Kentucky Derby Special" from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm ET.
NBC will feature "The Kentucky Derby Red Carpet Show" from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm ET and then will have the exclusive broadcast coverage of the Kentucky Derby 135 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm ET.
