To help your children and you enjoy the wonderful world of horse racing together, included are free computer links that can be clicked on and printed out. They can be colored or completed for hours of fun. Wearing a special hat is a long standing tradition for the Kentucky Derby Race, also known as the "Run for the Roses". So included is a link to help you make a Derby Hat of your very own! It is just a suggestion, but you may want to decorate it with roses too.

Family Fun has a delightful card game called the "Kentucky Card Derby Game". Once you play this you will want to play this throughout the Triple Crown and maybe throughout the year. Pony Party Ideas does not have printables but does have unique suggestions for making games. If you want to make the games fancier, of course it tells you where to buy the items necessary. May your wee ones enjoy the Derby as much as you do. All the sites have been checked for safety. However, when looking for printables and coloring pages on this topic, many innocent looking sites were not so innocent. Take care and keep your children safe. You'd never let your child go to a place you've never been before, please don't let your child go to a site where a trust adult or you yourself have not been before.
