STANFORD, Kentucky - Efforts to track down the murderers of Harold "Bo" Upton III and Ryan Shangraw continue.

One reason why this case is of particular importance to me is that this is part of my own extended community. Myself and members of my family live, work, play and shop in the Danville / Stanford area.

I always have great interest in resolution of crimes and unsolved issues in every community throughout the globe. But when they touch your own home community, one should pay special attention.

I challenge every law abiding citizen to do everything you can to go above and beyond to insure the safety of your community. It is essential that we all do everything that we can to establish and protect the safest environment for every individual, and this starts in your own community with your own neighbors and family.

There is no greater pain than the loss of a child. The family of these two boys have suffered
tremendously.

Community support is very important in cases like this. The killers walk among you.

Anyone with any info should immediately contact officials in this case. Any info received
through this site will be passed along to the proper authorities. Even the smallest detail
can be of great importance.

It can make a difference, someone
out there knows who killed these two boys.

The reason they have not been found is because people with money are not looking for them. If people with money start looking the ones in office and higher up in police dept will start worrying about their jobs. There are so many unsolved murders in Kentucky it is not funny. And when it is not a money issue it is a competancy issue. Get real officers in on cases and get rid of Barney Fife wannabes and go at it.
Still tho, the more money the family has the faster it is solved. I also know of cases of families who have money who are the killers who do not push for the homicides to be solved......go figure.
