Keo's in Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii: Restaurant Review

Jack Oceano
If you love Thai food, you will enjoy Keo's in Waikiki. Keo's in Waikiki is a popular Thai restaurant among islanders and tourists alike. The restaurant serves delicious and authentic Thai cuisine in a bright island setting for reasonable prices. Here is a restaurant review of Keo's in Waikiki.

Keo's in Waikiki is located at 2028 Kuhio Avenue in Honolulu. It has been voted "Honolulu's Best Value Dining" by Travel Holiday Magazine. If you are in the mood for something a little different, something flavorful and unique on your Oahu vacation, you might want to try Keo's in Waikiki. The restaurant boasts a wide menu of classic southeast Asia, and of course, Thai cuisine.

On their menu you will find dishes such as Thai Garlic Beef or Shrimp with Mushrooms, Thai Style Pork Chops, Indonesian Shrimp with Peanut Sauce, Crispy Bangkok Duckling, and Keo's Western Style Barbeque Ribs. Everything I've tried at Keo's in Waikiki - including the Thai Style Pork Chops - was surprisingly delicious, although Keo's in Waikiki was my first real experience with Thai cuisine.

Keo's in Waikiki is magnificently decorated, spacious and opened to the air, so you can look out onto Kuhio Avenue, one of Waikiki's main strips. The service is quite friendly, not hurried, and overall very pleasant. You will be dazzled by the flowers and the cleanliness and probably by the prices. Though Keo's in Waikiki is such a nice restaurant in the heart of a tourist town, entrees generally run between $11 and $16. Not bad for Hawaii, and excellent for Waikiki. Especially considering the quality of food.
Keo Sananikone and his restaurants have been around Hawaii for quite some time, and are enjoyed by visitors and residents, even some Hollywood stars. You can pay a visit to Keo's in Waikiki for breakfast, lunch or dinner. For breakfast, you can enjoy either Eastern or Western food.

It is important to note that the owner Keo Sananikone grows his own herbs, fruits and vegetables without pesticides at his own home on the North Shore of Oahu. How is that for pride? Keo Sananikone's pride in his establishment shows in the quality and presentation of his food, the cleanliness of his restaurant, the people he hires, and even the fabulous island decor. I highly recommend you pay at least one visit to Keo's in Waikiki during your next Hawaiian holiday. You can call 808-951-9355 for further information, including dining hours.

Aloha, and enjoy your meal at Keo's in Waikiki.
