Kevin Nash Returns to the WWE

Kevin Nash returned to the WWE at SummerSlam. Nash returned by entering through the crowd during CM Punk's WWE Championship celebration. Nash entered the ring. Instead of congratulating Punk on a job well done, Nash laid him out with a 'Jack Knife Power Bomb'.

Nash's attack on Punk provided Alberto Del Rio with the perfect opportunity to cash in his Money In The Bank Briefcase. Del Rio took advantage of that opportunity and cashed in his Money In The Bank Briefcase for a WWE Championship Match. Seconds later Del Rio was crowned the new Undisputed WWE Champion.

Nash's return raises a lot of question. Like "Why did Nash attack CM Punk?" or "What is the relationship between HHH and Kevin Nash?". Those two questions go hand and hand. When HHH made himself the special guest referee of CM Punk's and John Cena's Championship Match, he let the WWE Universe know why he made himself the special guest referee. His reasoning was to ensure that there would be only one Champion after SummerSlam. That Champion would be the Superstar that HHH wanted to be Champion. So "Why did Nash attack CM Punk?", HHH did not want Cena or Punk to be Champion. He wanted Alberto Del Rio to be Champion which is why he had Nash attack Punk.

The relationship between HHH and Nash is most likely business. As the COO, HHH is not allowed to put his hands on any Superstar because its against the rules. HHH could have brought Nash back for that reason. Nash can lay his hands on any Superstar he wants. If a Superstar steps out of line and HHH feels they need to be taken care of, he can have Nash do his dirty work for him.
