Kevyn Aucoin's The Volume Mascara

My latest mascara is Kevyn Aucoin's The Volume Mascara. I found this mascara when I was going to buy the Kiss Me mascara, but I was always worried about the thick brush and reviews saying that it makes the lashes stick together. As I was looking into it, I saw that someone mentioned that this Kevyn Aucoin's mascara is better than the Kiss Me mascara. I have been using this for a couple of months now and am completely in love with it.

This is one of those tube mascaras like imju fiberwig and kiss me mascara. So, it literally creates a tube around your lashes to make it appear thicker and longer without smudging like traditional mascaras. I can rub my eyes and cry with this on and it would stay on. I actually tried a few of the other tubing mascaras and most of them would flake off in the middle of the day. Some of the tubes would come off and hang around my lashes, which is definitely not attractive. This never happened with Kevyn Aucoin's mascara.

Another problem with the fiber tube mascara was that it tends to glue the lashes together, which does not look natural at all. I experienced this with Kevyn Aucoin's mascara at first, but I learned that not reapplying after it is dry eliminates that problem. I usually apply just one coat and it does not stick together and dries very fast. But, if I work fast enough, I can apply several coats and it would not make my lashes stick together. I do not think that it is hard to learn not to make the lashes stick together with this. I am still not perfect in this since I make my lashes stick together from time to time, but being fast really helps.

What separates Kevyn Aucoin's mascara from the other fiber tubing mascara is the brush. The brush is very thin so that it is very easy to reach every single lash. I have very skimpy short lashes and traditional mascara brushes were way too thick to reach the lashes in the corner and I love that I can do just that with the Kevyn Aucoin's mascara.

I think this is definitely great mascara and I will buy this over and over again. I think the price is definitely steep for $25 and it is actually very thin and smaller than most of the other mascaras. But, I think this is definitely worth the price.
