Key for Cash: A Legit Work from Home Opportunity

Jade
Working from home is a dream that many Internet users continue to seek the opportunity to fulfill. It is also no secrets that about 90% of work from home opportunities are down right scams that will make you little to no actual money. However, in my personal quest to find a perfect at home job I stumbled across this awesome website called Key For Cash.

Key For Cash opened their doors in 2000 and maintains that it has never used any type of formal advertising because word-of-mouth has brought so many potential workers to their door! The companies website seemed a little unprofessional to me at first, but after signing up I was actually making money and I have had no problems working with them!

So how does it work? The system behind Key For Cash is very simple. You are hired as an independent contractor to do various data entry assignments that will be e-mailed to you every time one becomes available. Easy Right? It sure is.

What I really love about this website is that there is no referral system, no formal application, no checking out sponsors or any of those other inconvenient tactics. They simply just require you to use your typing skills.

However, the pay rate has been steadily declining over the past several months. When the website first opened its doors the pay rate was 1.00 for every 1000 characters. This meant that even an average typist could make some decent pay. However, it is currently at .55 per 1000 characters. This is significantly less therefore, only fast typists would be able to make decent chunk of change, but the even the average typist could make some extra pocket money!

So how can you get in on this? Well, that's where the catch of this website comes in. There is a waiting list dating back about 6 months. You can sign up through their website to place your name on this list and the company estimates it hires about every month. So, this means that after a few months of waiting you could be offered a position. I personally only waited three weeks before I was invited to join- So there is hope!

Also, "keyers" (as they're called), must be at least eighteen and reside within the 48 continental United States.

If you meet these requirements and are still interested- Check out their website and place your name on the waiting list, you'll be glad you did! Key For Cash

key for cash has no set pay for key strokes per hour. if you key fast, you get more money per 1,000 keystrokes. i placed in the top 100 percentile, waited only 24 hours for an invitation and made .25/1,000 ksph. the next night i made .30/1,000 ksph. they pay based on accuracy. it's a smart setup for those of you who are awful at keying and paying attention to detail.

I will tell you that they are certainly a scam. I worked for this company to make a little extra money on the side, and was never paid what they owed me. I contacted them about it and they refused to reply to any email I tried to call. When I tried to call a phone number I had found for them after scouring the internet, they hung up on me! They took a quite a few hours of my life and never paid me a penny for it!

    Scam for sure!

I have been "Keying For Cash" for a few months now. Being the insomniac that I am, I earn money during my sleepless nights. It's not enough to make me quit my "real" job, but it gives me a couple of tanks of gas a month. I have never had any problems with it at all. I wish it paid a little more and I wish there was work every time I signed on, but, for the most part, it has been problem-free.
