Key Words in Internet Searches: Elvis, Kalamazoo, Richard Nixon, the Mafia and Wendy's

Writing articles for the internet is interesting in that you must put a lot of key words in the document. When people go online to research a particular subject they enter key words of phrases in a Google, Yahoo or other search engine and come up with a plethora of articles and websites to delve into. The trick is to write your article in such a way as to have lot of key words that are commonly used in internet searches.

One of the best examples of using very focused and commonly searched keywords has to do with the various conspiracy theories embodied in blogs and web pages on the internet. Let's suppose you were very interested in Elvis Presley sightings in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Not only do you want to know if there were or are currently sightings of the King of Rock and Roll in Kalamazoo, but you want to know what connections he might have to the mafia, especially since he was once deputized as a federal marshal by then President Richard Nixon.

To further broaden the search you remember Elvis' penchant for Cadillac automobiles, and the fact that he really liked to surprise someone that he didn't know with a brand new Caddie. So you incorporate into your search the key words Cadillac, along with Kalamazoo, Michigan, and free gift. It is then that you remember that Kalamazoo is in Michigan and so is Detroit. Of course, if Elvis is in Kalamazoo, he is only a couple of hours away from Detroit so he could easily drive up to the Motor City and pick up several of those Cadillac automobiles to give to surprised people on the street in Kalamazoo. Of course he would have to get off work from the Wendy's Restaurant where he works the afternoon shift to close weeknights. But, being the King of Rock and Roll, he could probably sing Teddy Bear to the manager and she'd melt in his arms and let him take time off to go to Detroit to pick up those Cadillac Automobiles. She just might be one of the people in Kalamazoo that Elvis, the King of Rock and Roll, would surprise with one of those great Cadillac cars. In fact it might just be a pink Cadillac that he would give to her.

Now one of the things that interests me is this: Since the King of Rock and Roll has been working at the Wendy's in Kalamazoo, Michigan since 1977, and he sang Teddy Bear to her to get off work to drive to Detroit to pick up the Cadillac Automobiles to give away, how did she not know that it is the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, working for her all these years? Now I know that was a very long sentence and you might think it is a run on sentence, but grammar check didn't say so, so if you believe it is a run on sentence you are wrong and probably not an Elvis fan anyway. In fact you have probably never been to Kalamazoo and you have probably never had a great triple with cheese from Wendy's!

So now you are ready to do your search. You open up Google in your internet web browser. You might use Firefox or you might use Internet Explorer, what ever your preference may be. My preference is Firefox, since Internet Explorer drives me nuts. But if you want to use Internet Explorer that is perfectly fine with me, but again, you are probably not a fan of the King of Rock and Roll and you've probably never been to Kalamazoo and you probably have never had a great triple with cheese from Wendy's!

Well, now that you are ready to enter your key words into the Google or Yahoo search bar, either on Internet Explorer or Firefox, you now know the keywords you must use. You carefully key in the following; "Elvis Presley, Kalamazoo, Cadillac, Automobile, Detroit, Wendy's, triple with cheese, King of Rock and Roll, Google, Yahoo, President Richard Nixon, mafia, gift, and surprise." Having entered all the key words into your search bar you click "enter" and the search begins. Whoops! I totally forgot to tell you that if you use too many key words you will get a whole menagerie of stories and probably none of them are what you were looking for in the first place. Sorry for the bad advice on searching for Elvis Presley in Kalamazoo, who works at Wendy's and goes to Detroit to pick up Cadillac Automobiles to gift to perfect strangers that he meets daily in Kalamazoo, Michigan; who was once deputized as a US Marshal by then President Richard Nixon, and the mafia is thrown in there somewhere for good measure! Just search for Elvis and Kalamazoo and you will hear all the great stories about Elvis faking his death and that he is still alive and well and has been sighted by many people in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Happy web surfing.
