Kicked Up Against Fears

Up Against Fears

Neetu Wali
In a beautiful nest,
On a beautiful tree,
By the side of a beautiful river,
Lives a cute little birdie,
And her loving parents,

The cutie seems to be,
So comfortable with the place,
So needy of her parents,
So fearful of flying,
So scared to be in the air,
So doubtful of her wings,
So grabbed into her inhibitions,

But her loving mother bird,
Seems to be too determined,
For the poor little,
To make her fly in the blues,

First, she tries to plead her young cutie,
Into her first flight in the air,
But every time she pleads,
Oh my God, shouts the cutie,
And closes her eyes to the sky,

Second, she tries to greed her young cutie
Into flying with the cool breeze,
But every time she offers,
The birdie willingly declines the offer,
And again closes her eyes to the sky,

No cost seems to be enough,
To make her risk her life,
For the adventure of flying,

In no mood to give up,
Mother bird kicks the nest,
And up goes the birdie,
Against her inhibitions and fears,

Next time when you see cutie flying,
Remember!
The mother bird has kicked her up,\
Against her inhibitions and doubts,
