Involving the Kids in Making Christmas Gifts from the Heart

Family Photos
This sounds so simple and maybe a bit egotistical but to distant and even not so distant relatives or even close friends love to receive pictures of you and your growing family. you do not have to go to the expense of a professional portrait either. Just choose a great snapshot with a pretty background and this will do just fine. Then buy an inexpensive frame for it.
Another idea is to collect several snapshots from special occasions throughout the year and out it together in a small photo album.
This can be fun for your kids they can help in choosing the snapshots to give and who to give them to. Plus if you want to decorate the album or frame they are fabulous artists when it comes to decorating.

A Special Book Mark
This is sure to please Grandma and grandpa! Gather old and new pictures of your family and trim them to fit on a piece of heavy paper that is approximately 2x7 inches. Arrange the photos on the front and back and secure in place with glue. Then you can add the date, a scripture, or a sentiment, etc.. have the book mark laminated, or cover it with clear contact paper.

This is something the kids can be of help with. they can help in choosing pictures or the sentiment, scripture,etc.. this way they are helping in personalizing the gift.
