Marshmallow Bouquet
To make these you will need a double boiler, chocolate and white almond bark, large marshmallows, popsicle sticks and sprinkles in various colors. An adult will need to melt the almond bark in the double boiler. Let the kids push a marshmallow onto a popsicle stick, but not all the way through it. Then dip the marshmallow so it is halfway covered. Add sprinkles while the almond bark is still wet. Continue doing this until you have a good number of marshmallows. Let them dry on waxed paper. When they have cooled, bunch them together, wrap cellophane around them, and tie the base with a pretty ribbon.
Jiggly Notes
Make a pan of gelatin following these directions. Boil 1 ¼ cups water. Pour the water into a large bowl add 1 8 serving size package of any flavored gelatin. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Pour into a 13x 9 inch pan and put in the fridge for at least three hours. When the gelatin is firm dip the bottom of the pan in hot water for a few seconds. Then let the kids use letter cookie cutters to spell out "I Love you, Mom" or whatever they would like to say. Arrange the letter on a large plate and give to mom.
Easy Fudge
A kid can complete most of the tasks to make this fudge and mom is sure to love it. Put 16 baker's semi sweet chocolate squares in a large microwavable bowl, add 1 can sweetened condensed milk. Microwave on high for two to three minutes. Remove the bowl and stir until the chocolate is completely melted and mixed thoroughly with the milk. Add two teaspoons vanilla and if desired 1 ½ cups of mom's favorite nut. Spread the mixture into a greased pan and put it in the fridge until it is cooled and firm. Cut a large section out wrap it in cellophane, tie it with a pretty ribbon and give it to mom on Mother's day.
