If you are looking for kid-friendly Halloween activities and places where you can bring your child to that are are not scary for kids in Orange County, California, there are several fun kid-friendly Halloween activities that they will love. Here are four great kid-friendly places for them to enjoy haunted houses, mazes, and other fun Halloween activities in Orange County, California.

Knott's Berry Farm "Camp Spooky"

Knott's Berry Farm in Orange County, California is located in the city of Buena Park and each year that host a kid-friendly "Camp Spooky" with many Halloween activities that are included in the regular park admission cost that kids will love. Kids ages 3 through 11 can dress up in their cute Halloween costumes for a "Snoopy's Costume Party". The fun kid-friendly Halloween activities include a walk through a fun corn field maze called the Haunted Harvest, be part of a costume parade, have fun dancing at a monster dance party, trick or treating, and visiting Linus at the Foam-tastic Pumpkin Patch, which is a fun kids play area where they can have fun and enjoy some bubbles. You can visit the Snoopy's Costume Party on weekend only during the dates of October 2 through October 31st. You will have to pay for the Knott's Berry Farm Park admission, which includes the "Camp Spooky" activities. Admission for a child ages 3 through 11 cost $23.99 and the adult admission cost $54.99. Irvine Railroad Pumpkin Patch

The Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch is located in Orange County, California in the city of Irvine. The Irvine Railroad Pumpkin Patch runs from September 18 through October 31st during 2010 with weekday hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and weekends from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The admission to the pumpkin patch is free, as well as the hay maze, kid-friendly haunted house and picture stands where you can put your head through a Halloween decorated theme board for a Halloween photo opportunity with your family. The Irvine Railroad Pumpkin Patch has other Halloween activities with an additional cost of tickets. Tickets cost $4.00 each and children who are 12 months and younger are free. The activities that cost only one ticket are the 12 minute train ride, the 20 minute hay ride, the John Deer tractor races for children ages 5 though 7, a 10 minute jump in the Halloween bounce house, and the carnival games. The activities that cost two tickets are the face painting and panning for gold. The Irvine Park Railroad is home of the Orange County Zoo where you can visit for $2.00 per person and children who are ages 2 and younger are free. The Irvine Park Railroad has special online coupons that you can print to take with you. There is a vehicle admission price to enter the park of $3 on weekdays, $5 on weekends, and $7 on holidays. Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland

Disneyland is located in Orange County, California in the city of Anaheim. Mickey's Halloween party is a private event that you will need to purchase a separate ticket where adults and children can dress up in a costume and trick or treat at Disneyland. Other activities will include a dance party at Tomorrowland Terrace and the French Market, a "Halloween Scream" fireworks spectacular that will be hosted by "Master of Scare-omonies" Jack Skellinton. Kids will enjoy creepy craft activities, music and an opportunity to get photos with their favorite characters including Mickey and his friends, and the beautiful princesses. There will be a "Mickey's Costume Party" cavalcade that will be performing twice during the evening. The event days are October 1, 5, 8, 12, 15, 19, 22, 26, 29, and 31. Tuesdays nights from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Friday nights and Halloween from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Tickets are available for $49 when purchased in advance for the dates of 1, 5, 12, 19, 26 and $54 for tickets purchased on the day of the event and 8, 15, 22, 29. If you would like to go on the 31st, the cost is $59. Disneyland is located at 1313 S. Harbor, Anaheim, California 92802 in Orange County.

Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch

The Tanka Farms Pumpkin Patch is open from September 23 through October 31 and has kid-friendly Halloween activities they will love. There is no charge for the admission or parking. Kids can enjoy a free corn maze and pick pumpkins for a sliding scale cost. The Tanaka farms offers other Halloween activities for a fee. You child would love to take their wagon ride for $5 per person and pet the animals in their petting zoo for $3 per person. Children who ages 2 and younger are free. During the weekends only, Tanaka Farms offers games, arts, crafts, and foods. Tanaka Farms is located at 5380 3/4 University Drive, Irvine, California 92612 in Orange County.
