Kids Bathroom Themes: Underwater Ocean Life Bathroom Theme
Here's a Fun Decorating Idea for Your Kids' Bathroom!
Here's where to start...
The first thing you'll want to do is to give your kids bathroom a good scrub down. Use a disinfectant like Lysol and wipe down all hard surfaces, including the toilet, counters, floor, and walls. Once the bathroom is clean you'll be able to take a good look and see what needs to be repaired or replaced. You'll also be able to see if your walls should be repainted.
If the walls are in need of being repainted then that is the first thing you'll want to do. Any color will do. Ocean themes contain many colors. Reds, pinks, purples, blues, greens, yellows, oranges, black and even white. Keep the walls a color that you love. Themes, especially this one, can be easily redone in different themes and the wall color can remain the same.
Next replace your flooring if needed. Vinyl, or tile is your best bet. A newly redecorated bathroom will just not look as good as it could, or finished, if the flooring is damaged.
Now here comes the fun part. This is where the oceanli9fe theme comes into play. You can do a theme by using these two types of things alone: Wall border and accessories.
First choose your wall border. There are tons of bathroom borders to choose from, and many of them are ocean life designs. Select your favorite from your local wall border retailer and go to work on hanging it. Wall borders generally are hung at the tops of the walls. They also can be hung at the bottom, or in the middle depending on what you think will look best in your room. You could be really creative and use two different yet matching wall borders, on at the top and another at the bottom.
The next step in perfectly creating an ocean life theme in your children's bathroom is to add the accessories. Toilet seat covers, bathmats, shower curtains, towels, and counter accessories are what really set the theme. You can find great ocean life bathroom accessories at stores like Walmart or K-mart. They are an inexpensive way to theme your children's bathroom! They are also very easy to replace in order to create a new theme!
