Kid's Birthday Party Venues in Deland, Florida

Like any small town, Deland, Florida has more than its share of families. One of the greatest advantages of living here is the location. Deland is about halfway between Orlando, Florida and Daytona Beach, Florida. This makes it a wonderful stopping point for tourists or vacationers. Everything one may want to do can be reached in a reasonable amount of time.

Freedom Playground is located within Bill Dreggors Park and features pavilions that can be rented for parties. Each pavilion is equipped with an electrical outlet and a barbecue grill. We've held at least three birthday parties here for our kids. Restrooms are onsite and kept clean. The pavilions are available on a first come basis, but if you want to be sure to have one available, you can make a reservation for 16.00 for a three hour block.

The playground is a grouping of sturdy, maintained wooden climb on-swing around-crawl under kid's dream.

Deleon Springs is believed to be the place that explorer Ponce de Leon considered the Fountain of Youth. Small pavilions can be reserved for 30.00, and larger ones for 60.00 plus tax. The park features a spring (of course) that is a steady 75 degrees for swimming. The water is unchlorinated and a children's swim area is roped off from the rest of the spring.

Placed a comfortable distance from the Spring is a wonderful playground well-suited for small and not so small children.

The Park's history spans some 6,000 yeas and there is a visitor center that traces what is known of the use and conflict this choice piece of real estate has seen in its long life.

If an outdoor party is not an option, Deleon is the home of the Old Sugar Mill Restaurant, where diners can pour and cook their own pancakes right at the table.

Admission is 5.00 per car up to eight people.
