Kids and Cell Phones

I don't know about you but when I was a kid and had a boyfriend to break up with , I had to do`it in person. there were actually real feelings involved . Now adays kids reach for the phone type a few abbreviated words and the deed is done.

It's painless, effortless, & I see kids doing things like this everywhere I go, including my own teenager.

Cell phones are a wonderful invention , but I think things have gotten way out of hand with them & our younger generation. It's getting all to common to see 7 year olds walking around talking on them.

In high school kids use them to cheat on tests ,they text each-other answers. In locker rooms they are taking pictures of each-other with no shirts on, & they are ending up on on the Internet for the world to see.

Children are not spelling properly because of all the lazy short cut words associated with texting such as , lol, bff , omg, wtf.

I personally know someone who lost a loved on in a car wreck because they were texting . I guess I just don't get it , kids today are becoming desensitized in my opinion because of all the hours playing video games, and on cell phones , & on the Internet. Drive by a playground sometime there are young kids sitting in swings holding their phones , when is enough , enough.

Cell phones are very handy you can see what your husband wants for dinner, call to say you will be late. If you have car trouble you can call for help. They are a business persons right arm.

I guess I just want to see kids slow down & learn to spell again .
