Kids' Craft: Decorating the Wizard's Time Pendant A Harry Potter Themed Party Favor

Give each Harry Potter birthday party goer a bag containing the materials for the Wizard's Time Pendant. Set out the crayola glue. Show the children how to color the top of the pendant, and any surfaces they wish. Or they can use stickers. The Crayola glitter glue will need to dry for about half an hour (Crayola.com) if you use it. The paint may take a little less time.

Have the young wizards paint their initial onto the bottom of the time pendant. While it is drying, engage in some party games.

Instruct the kids to repeat the process on the other side, so each leather cord is secured to the time piece.

Next, the party goers should lift each end of the leather cord, as if putting it on. When they find the right length, advise them tie a knot in the back of their Harry Potter Wizard Time Pendant. Or, have a fellow party goer tie the knot.

The Harry Potter Wizard Time Pendant looks best when it is left a little long, like a "real: wizard would wear.

The adult at the party can now snip off the extra lengths of the leather cord.

Now each party goer has their own Harry Potter inspired Wizard's Time Pendant.
