Free Buffets and Dinners for Kids in Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana

Viktorya Hale
Are there any single moms or dads out there that would love to take your kids out to eat for free. If you are and it seems that it has been years since you took the kiddos out, maybe this will help out. We all love a break from cooking, seeing that we work all day and don't have simple luxuries (like a dishwasher), it's a definite treat to take the kids out.

There is a slight problem with that, especially for single parents... that is money. That is why we wanted to find some places in the Shreveport and Bossier City, Louisiana area where you can feed your little ones for free. Plan to take the kids out with these irresistible free offers. Just click on the links and they will take you to the site where you can learn more about each offer. They will be broke down according to the day of the week.

So you are relishing the last few moments of silence as your hasty day (at work) is finished, but the remainder of your Mommy mode day is underway. You smile as all of your little people make their way in the car.

It hits you! "What in the world am I going to make for dinner?" Don't fret, we will show you where you can take the kiddos on the manic Monday evening to eat for free! San Francisco Oven welcomes children to eat free for the entire day. They are conveniently located at The Boardwalk in Bossier City.

In the mood for Mexican instead? Posados offers .99 cent kids meals on Monday evenings. Oh and we can't forget $2 Margaritas for the Mom and Dad, if they drink. Sound good? They are located on Bert Kouns in Shreveport. You can call and reserve 318-524-2000.

Every participating Pizza Hut welcomes children to eat a free buffet on Tuesday nights. Bring all the kids and they eat free (except for drinks). The food is awesome and there is a variety to chose from, as well. For a list of their locations, visit the site.

No pizza? How about Chick-Fil-A? Take yourself, your two kids and a date. On Tuesday, the kids will enjoy a free meal with the purchase of an adult meal. So if you go shopping at the mall on Tuesday evening, remember to stop by and eat there. They are located on 7010 Youree Drive.

Roadhouse Grill will give you a free meal for each adult entree and side on Tuesday nights as well. If you think that you want something a little nicer then the two previous mentioned, feel free to visit. They are located at 1752 East 70th in Shreveport.

Want to mellow out after Wednesday night service? How about heading over to Luby's after church. The kids eat free after 4:30 p.m. Luby's is located on 1505 E. Bert Kouns in Shreveport.

Heading to the mall on Thursday after work? The kids eat for .99 cents at Piccadilly's in St. Vincent mall or on Shreveport Barksdale highway.

Feel like fish instead on Thursday? Kids eat free with one paying adult. Captain D's is located on Airline Dr. in Bossier City.

Eat out tonight and save. It's okay to splurge every once in awhile, especially when you can find a free meal or deal for the kids.

Readers, I was informed by a local resident that some of these establishments are no longer open (goes to show how often I get out) :) Three of the
restaurants mentioned are closed (San Francisco Oven, Roadhouse Grill,
and Luby's). Sorry for the inconvenience. Also mentioning margaritas was a bad call seeing I don't drink, not to mention that this was an article about kids eating out. Sorry if I offended.
