Kids Get Free Ticket to LSU Vs. Florida Basketball Game by Entering Coloring Contest

The LSU athletic department is sponsoring a coloring contest for kids under the age of 12. The contest is designed for children who love LSU and the LSU Tigers to show off their talents and creativity by entering either a colored page which can be downloaded from LSU Sports.

Categories will be broken up into age brackets as follows:

Age 4 and under

Ages 5 & 6

Ages 7 & 8

Ages 9 & 10

Ages 11 & 12

All children who enter the contest will receive a ticket to watch the LSU Tiger Basketball team take on the Florida Gators on February, 20, 2011. Families with more than one entry are requested to submit entries together so tickets can be issued for seating families together. Adult ticket prices for families with entries into the contest are specially priced at $10.00 each.

The winning entries will be displayed during the basketball game. Winners will be chosen for each category and on the basis of creativity, design and skill.

Here are the prizes that will be awarded to the winners of the coloring contest:

Age 8 and under:

First Place: LSU Coloring Book and Membership to Mike's (the Tiger) Kids Club

Second Place: LSU Kid's Backpack

Third Place: Mike the Tiger Puzzle

Ages 9-12:

First Place: Autographed Basketball by Coach Trent Johnson and a $50 gift certificate to LSUshop.net

Second Place: LSU Mini Hoop and a $50 gift certificate to LSUshop.net

Third Place: LSU Mini Hoop and a Glen Davis bobble head doll
