Kids And A Great Vacation Spot Too!

We love to go on vacation together and see places like Disney world and Orlando, Florida. I have one of those jobs that take up most of my time and when I get my vacations the family cannot get out of school or work. So we came up with a great solution to the problem. You see every year at the same time I have to go to a training update for my automotive teaching profession for a week and it just so happens it is in Orlando, Florida every year for the last four anyway. I decided since I have to go and the hotel and travel (mileage) is paid the I could take my family along and while I am in school then the rest of the family can go see the sights during the day and see Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck along with the water parks and Walt Disney World. Then after I get out of school (work) we meet up and get together for a nice dinner at one of the thousand family restaurants and go see a movie or show.

Every year for the past three we have done this and since my company pays for the hotel it cuts our vacation costs down and I do not have to use my vacation time. This leaves us extra money for the fun things like Wet & Wild or Epcot and some of the others. Now this may seem like I am taking advantage of my company and I will be the first to admit it is nice, but in no way is the cost of the room any different to my company than if I came alone. The good thing is I am not away from my wife and two young children.

The next time you are going on a business trip to one of those cities that have allot to see for the family and is a fun getaway for them by all means take them and let them enjoy themselves while you work and you will have a closer relationship with them knowing they will be there no matter where your business takes you. i have been on many of trips away from without my family and I know how lonely those hotel rooms can be and how you end up going to bed feeling like something is missing. That all changed when the family is with me. Enjoy the Summer and don't leave the family behind again.

My family and I will be going on another almost free vacation this year and as usual I will be going to my training classes and my family will be going to get to stay in my hotel with me and be able to go to the sights of Orlando. I will be looking to maybe going to a different training next year so as not to bore my family with Orlando and Mickey Mouse.

Unlike allot of teachers I have to work all thru the Summer. This is when my kids are off and as long as as my kids enjoy the Summer then it makes my wife and I happy. I did notice that all the other teachers at the training classes do not bring their family with them and when they come in the next morning they are well rested from going to bed early. I know that there is allot of you out there that could take your families with you and some of you have to pay for your expenses and still do not want to take them. Why have a family if you do not want them around. Enjoy
