I Repeat: Miley Cyrus is Not Pregnant
The problem began when some enterprising individual scanned in a tidbit from the popular teen magazine, J-14. The jokester then used a bit of Photoshop magic to change what had begun as a quirky bit about Miley's nasty habits into a bit about her revealing her "pregnancy" and marveling at the fact that it had "accidentally happened."
MSNBC caught wind of the incident after numerous celebrity blogs picked up on the doctored tidbit and did a little investigation. Despite their efforts, some gung-ho fans and internet denizens are shouting Miley Cyrus' "good news" from the rooftops. Kids, it's all rumors. J-14 never reported the non-incident.
So, let's recap: Little Miley Cyrus, only 14 years old, is not pregnant. If we have to pick on someone, can we pick on someone, ya know, of legal age?
And please, for the love of all that is holy, leave the news spoofing to The Onion if that's the best you can do.
