For those who are looking for a full day camp the East Pasco YMCA offers their day camp program starting June 14th and ending August 20th. This camp starts at 7:15 in the morning and ends at 6 p.m. so it gives working parents the perfect opportunity to drop their kids off in time and pick them up at the end of the work day. The full day camp offers activities such as swimming, special field trips and fun indoor and outdoor activities. Prices are $90 facility and $120 for the program. It is offered to kids ages 5-12.
The East Pasco YMCA also offers a number of half day camps for ages 7-17. One of their more popular half day camps is the Tri-Camp which combines swimming, cycling and running. This particular half day camp runs from July 26th-30th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is $75 facility or $100 for the program.
Another popular choice is the swim camp. This half day camp runs from June 14th through the 18th starting at 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students will learn not only the basics but more advanced swim movements as well. Prices are $75 and $100 for program and it is for ages 7-17 as well.
If you have an aspiring cheerleader then the cheer camp is perfect from them. Like the other camps this particular half day camp is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and $75 for facility and $100 for the program. Students will learn a number of sheers, jumps and special chants.
In addition to the above mentioned camps there is also a basketball camp, volleyball camp, golf camp and flag-football camp. Prices and times are generally the same for all half day camps.
For older kids and teens the East Pasco YMCA also offers camps for them. For kids ages 10-17 there is a strength conditioning camp where they will learn about weight training and all the fundamentals of getting their overall body conditioned. This class is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and starts July 12 and ends the 16th. Like the other camps it is $75 for facility and $100 for the program.
By enrolling your child in one of these camps you will not only be giving them the chance to have fun in a healthy way but they also have special savings offers for those who enroll their child in one or more the programs.
