Kill Bill

The fourth film by critically acclaimed director Quentin Tarentino, done in his classic "ending-first" style, it is rated R for graphic violence and runs 111 minutes. Kill Bill stars: Uma Thurman, Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Daryhl Hannah, David Carradine, Michael Madsen, and Sonny Chiba along others. This movie was also nominated for the Golden Globe award along with 41 other nominations and bringing in 12 wins.

The movie begins with a pregnant woman getting married in Pasadena, Texas, and an entire marriage party gets assassinated "executioner" style. The pregnant woman's name being withheld throughout the movie, she wakes up from a four year coma finding her baby gone. Afterwards she tries to will her limbs back from atrophy, spending hours in the back of a truck. She then goes to Japan and buys a classic sword from a master Sword-maker to help her in her quest to hunt down and kill the members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. She had once been a member of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad but left after she had found herself pregnant. The leader of the Squad, Bill, ordered that she be found and killed for abandoning them.

After killing about half of the members of the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad, towards the end of the movie the pregnant woman is introduced as Beatrix Kiddo. She sends a message to Bill by cutting off the hand of "Sofie" one of his protégées and dropping her off at a local hospital. Bill asks her if Beatrix knew about the whereabouts of the baby, to which Sofie confirmed that she did not know.

One of the best movies that I have seen! I highly recommend it!
