Killing and Suicide of Nice Family

North Carolina Family Killing, Father Kills Family in North Carloina

On Monday of the previous week, in a nice neighborhood, a man of the name William Maxwell shot and killed his family and himself. The man was 47 years old, killing his wife, Kathryn and his 17 and 15 year old children. No one knows why this could ever happen, because the family were consistent church members and a friendly family.

Edwards, a neighbor of the family, said she would often would see the family members walking their dog through the quiet neighborhood. John McKinney of Fayetteville, who described himself as Maxwell's business partner and friend for more than a ten years, stated that Maxwell was a devout Christian.

The family lived in a neighborhood with well maintained lawns where close to all houses sit on hill tops, a steady stream of cars drove by the house, after the incident, slowing for drivers to gape at the crime scene. How does a family like this come to be so peaceful to ending the life of all? I don't believe any will ever find out.

Fayetteville is about 50 miles southwest of Raleigh and is home to the Army's, Fort Bragg. Also in this location the children attend two nice schools. The son, Cameron Maxwell, went to ninth grade at Village Christian Academy and his sister, older, was a senior. "Those kids were very well loved and respected. They were very well known here in town". This was a school administrator from the children's school, Lou Nelon.
