Story : The game is a direct sequel to Killzone, so if you've played that things here augment what's happened before. The character who starred in the other games however, Jan Templar, is nowhere to bee seen and now you are Sev Sevchenko. The goal of the game is basically to kill all the bad guys, though there is more story to it that I'm not willing to reveal.
Graphics : Some of the best graphics I've ever seen. One thing that's almost always true amongst gamers is ''Graphics Don't Make The Game''. This might have been the game that would be the exception, except this game has great game play as well. More on that later. The graphics are as detailed as anything I've seen, and totally and complete immersive. The animation provided to everything in the game is totally flawless, it has to be seen to believed.
Sound : Let's get the bad out of the way first. The voice acting isn't very good and is best off ignored. Everything else, sound wise, is a home run. Unbelievable sound effects that are really detailed. Great music that fits the game appropriately, is ambient when it needs to be and in the foreground also when it needs to be. Simply put, this game is a complete offering when it comes to sound, with the exception of the voice acting.
Game play : As far as the controls go, this game makes every other first person shooter feel like it was played on Easy mode. There's no auto targeting here at all, so if you're looking for a more realistic gaming experience this could be a good one for you to check out. There isn't really anything new here overall. If you've played other first person shooters then you'll know how to progress through the game. Shoot, throw grenades, cover, all that good stuff. I need to get to what I feel is the game's strongest though: the multi-player online mode. This game can handle up to a whopping 32 players, which makes every game totally filled to the brim with action and intensity. You can even have teams. There's something to be said for getting the formula right over trying to invent something new, and Guerrilla has it down in spades.
Re playability : One of the best multi-player modes ever. If not, the best.
Overall : 8/10. Mediocre story and voice acting, but the rest cannot be ignored. 8 out of 10.
