Yahoo News calculated the duration of the marriage as only 72 days. And they said that it would last. Reggie a former boyfriend was the better choice for a husband but the Kardashians just got to be in the entertainment news so Kim Kardashian got married to Kris Humphries after that breakup.

Divorced after two months of marriage means that Kim Kardashian's mother, Kris Jenner who is married to Bruce Jenner should have talked with her daughter to make sure that Kris Humphries was the one. Kris Jenner who married the Olympic Gold Medal winner Bruce Jenner has been married twice herself. Kris Jenner whose first namesake is the same as Kim Kardashian temporary husband Humphries should have explained to Kim Kardashian that marriage is serious and not show business propaganda.

Barbara Walters on the View said that Kim Kardashian should not have married a man with the same first name as her mother, jokingly. Two months of marriage did not give the Kim Kardashian and the Kris Humphries nuptials a chance in Eden. Those kinks should have been worked out before the much-publicized marriage that possibly would have caused the Kardashian and Humphries marriage to last more than 72 days.

It was not as though Kim Kardashian needed to be coupled off with yet another famous athlete to please the public's palette. Maybe Kim Kardashian endorsements were based on the famous athlete she was dating at the moment. Kris Humphries wanted publicity as well to boost his California franchise business. The marriage ceremony was performed in California.

Age does not bring maturity or wise decision making abilities when it comes to the Kardashian marriages. Rumors reported and materialized in People magazine that Kim and Kris marriage was in trouble after just one month. A publicized event such as the marriage between Kim Kardashian and the Kris Humphries could have been affected by those early rumors of discord and discontent.

The reasoning for the early marriage dismissal is that Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries both had "grueling" work schedules with Kim Kardashian working on her reality show with her sister Kourtney Kardashian who is 32. Kim Kardashian admitted that the work schedules were not "ideal" when it came to building a marriage of newlyweds. Kim Kardashian is 31 years old and her divorced husband Kris Humphries is 26 years old but maturity did not solve the problems that these two personalities had to deal with.
