Kim Kardashian Bare-faced; Beyonce's Darkened Face (Photo Links)

Carol Whyte
It's a known fact that Kim Kardashian is beautiful with or without makeup as you will see in the link below, and Beyonce, a gorgeous star herself, finds herself in some media controversy after a photo in a French magazine shows her with black makeup to darken her face.

Kim Kardashian was spotted in Studio City, California without make up on and her typically groomed hair a bit ruffled.

While most stars benefit from the use of makeup, Kim is one of the exceptions looking as pretty as ever as she talks on her cell phone and walks along.

Here's a link of Kim without makeup.

If you check out this link to Media Takeout.com, you'll see the same photo of Kim but with a less-than-kind headline.

Also in the news today for her made up face is superstar Beyonce who is pictured in French fashion magazine L'Officiel Paris.

While the magazine is celebrating its 90th anniversary, Beyonce is dressed in head wraps and beautiful gowns to exhibit her appreciation and pay tribute to African culture.

There is one picture, however, that is causing a stir. Beyonce's face is obviously darkened with makeup . As EW.com Music-Mix states in their article Beyonce is not mocking the culture with a blackface.

In fact, EW.com's exact quote is "Not every blackened face is blackface. There's a fine line between artistry and mockery. And several things must be considered before thinking that Beyonce, of all people, would be the one to spit in the face of her own culture."

EW.com said that the music icon's rep didn't return their calls regarding the noise on the web that she was in "blackface."

Perhaps they didn't because most of us already know that Beyonce would never do something to offend any culture in the first place.

Take a look here at this link to see the photo in question.

This is a good article Ms. Whythe. You seem like a very positive upbeat person. It's a breath of fresh air to find a writer that isn't full of hate. You should write more articles. Beyonce is light skin. She is half black and half Creole. She looks exotic. They probably made her skin a little darker to look more like an African queen. There was nothing wrong with that. Some people are just jealous and hateful.

    Thanks for the post !

L'OFFICIEL is very proud to present its March issue featuring Beyonc in African-inspired dresses and jewelry by top designers, including Gucci, Azzedine Alaia, Fendi, Pucci, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Rodarte, Dolce & Gabbana, Cartier and Lanvin. Designer Tina Knowles, who is also Beyonc's mother, created a one of a kind couture piece. The designs are all reflective of the African influence on fashion this season. Miss Knowles poses with royal allure. A queen, a goddess, Beyonc is a bombshell beauty with a divine voice. We're thrilled she's opening a season of celebrating the 90th anniversary of L'Officiel de la Mode. The series was conceived as using art and fashion in paying homage to African queens.

Beyonc mentioned the artist Fela Kuti in the interview as one of her musical inspirations. It was later misquoted as the inspiration for the shoot. We would like to clarify that it is not the case. As for the artistic makeup, the inspiration
