Kim Kardashian Earns Statue in the Wax Museum

Kim Kardashian, the popular actress and model who has appeared on "Dancing With the Stars" and "Keeping Up With the Kardashians", has a new achievement to add to her resume: inclusion at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in New York City. VH1 reports the story of Kim's lifelike statue and how it could easily pass for a double in one of her television shows. The wax Kim Kardashian can stand in for the real, live Kim and just look gorgeous whenever a spot on the set needs to be brightened up. But for now, the wax statue, sculpted to perfection, will remain at the museum for tourists to enjoy.

The wax figure of Kim is wearing a hot pink Herve Leger dress with a plunging neckline and her lovely black hair parted in the center, falling over her shoulders. Of course, as lovely as the statue sounds, it still cannot compare to Kim's own natural beauty. What is amazing is that when Kim saw the wax statue for the first time, she thought it was prettier than she is, but we all know that that is not true. Her fans will get a thrill though, wanting to get close to the statue so they can tell their friends they posed with Kim. The wax replica looks sexy, as Kim always does, and will attract visitors from all over the nation. It would not be surprising if first time visitors to Madam Tussauds will head straight for the wax version of Kim, just to be photographed by her side.

Madame Tussauds began in London in 1835 by Marie Tussaud, who learned wax modeling from Philippe Curtius. The museum soon became a popular tourist spot before it developed branches in other major cities around the world. The New York museum also contains wax statues of Barack Obama, Muhammad Ali, Britney Spears, and Pablo Picasso.
