Kim Kardashian Has a New Jewelry Line
Set for an official release in January 2011, the jewelry line was inspired by the costume jewelry which first became popular during the 1930s, worn by such style icons of the day, as Carol Lombard. Kim says she was also inspired and influenced by other Hollywood fashion and beauty icons, Sophia Loren, Lauren Hutton and Julie Christie.
The jewelry line includes four different series, the Hexagon series, which sketches can be viewed here at People.com, the Glam Rock series, the Gold Cluster series and the Peek-a-Boo series. Each series, says Kim, is a reflection of her different styles and tastes.
Kim worked with jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad, to create the 75-piece line which she is calling, Belle Noel. This isn't the first jewelry line for the ambitious, Kim Kardashian. She collaborated with her equally beautiful and ravishing sisters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian to create pieces for the line, (what else?) Virgins, Saints and Angels. The Armenian inspired pieces were released in April of this year. Starting at $300 a piece, the Virgins, Saints and Angels line is a bit pricier than Kim's budget conscious Belle Noel line which has pieces ranging from $11 to $150.
Kim's Belle Noel line will be sold in top department stores, specialty stores and select online stores such as Pascal Mouawad.com
