Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush May Rekindle Their Romance While Sasha Grey Continues Move into Mainstream

Sasha Grey, the queen of professionally made sex tapes seems to be moving away from the genre as she continues to build out her mainstream acting and music career; Kim Kardashian, who first became famous for her own semi-celebrity sex tape she made with rapper Ray-J, is said to be heading back to her former flame Reggie Bush.

Recent years have brought about an avalanche celebrity sex tapes; at times, it's hard to remember who is famous for their sex tapes and whose sex tapes are famous because of who is in them. The recently concluded summer might well be remembered as "the summer of the celebrity sex tape" as celebrities across the entertainment and sports worlds appeared in what had to be an unprecedented number of sex tapes.

Now, in the fall, two pioneers of sorts in the sex tape world, Sasha Grey and Kim Kardashian, are in the news for different reasons.

Kardashian has had an on again/off again relationship with New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush. At one time it even appeared that Kardashian and Bush were heading for the aisle, as the couple said that they would get married if the Saints won the Super Bowl earlier this year. It seemed that Kardashian had put her sex tape past way behind her and that she might be ready to settle down into a life of domestic bliss.

Unfortunately, however, Kardashian and Bush never did get married and the two went their separate ways shortly after the Super Bowl, for reasons neither explained. They both went on to pursue other love interests, though it was reported that over the summer, Kardashian and Bush found themselves at the same wedding for his teammate Bobby McCray. Bush reportedly addressed Kardashian repeatedly and asked for a reconciliation. She refused and while things didn't get out of hand, the two needed to be separated.

Today, however, it's reported on Radaronline that the running back and the celebrity sex tape star realize they have a special bond are discussing the possibility of getting back together. Stay tuned.

Meanwhile, Sasha Grey, who was probably the best known current sex tape star on the planet to get her start in sex tapes seems to be moving further and further away from her sex tape past. Grey received good reviews for her work in Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience and this summer had a recurring role in HBO's Entourage. She just completed another film called I Melt With You, and is currently working as a celebrity DJ around the country.

While Grey has not announced that she is retiring from the adult world, she is building a portfolio of diverse career interests. Grey is also in a band called aTelecine, which features experimental and techno sounds and they have released two albums this year. As she is only twenty two, she has many years to continue working in the mainstream and shed the image of the sex tape girl trying to crossover.

So Kim Kardashian is talking about rekindling love with Reggie Bush and Sasha Grey finishes another movie and works on her music career; a busy time for two sex tape stars who might be putting the genre behind them.
