Kim Kardashian's Not-So-Pretty Side

Many people are amazed by and addicted to the personal lives of celebrities and others who for one reason or another are in the media spotlight. One of these people include Kim Kardashian - you know her, the one who stars in the hit TV show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians". But, truly, is she really known for anything else that is truly praiseworthy... and really is that TV show all that praiseworthy when it doesn't even require any acting skills? Yes, it is true, Kim Kardashian is a very beautiful woman physically, and because she parades her body all over magazines and other media sources, of course men are going to gawk - men gawk at any half-attractive woman who walks around scantilly clad or wearing skin-tight clothing items.

So, is Kim Kardashian all that beautiful? Well, the answer is up to you.... but there are some things that she does a nice job of covering up, which every woman can learn from (if they want to).

First of all, her cellulite. Of course it's not unusual for a woman to have cellulite, and Kim has even said herself that she has cellulite. And she works very hard with creams, massages, dieting, and exercising to keep it under control. But the point is, like every other woman, she has it. And for her, it seems to be mostly centered on her upper thighs and buttocks .. so what does Kim do to those unsightly areas that cannot be brought under control? In all her pictures, she does a good job of covering up and still looking nice (if scantilly clad is considered nice). Even when she goes to the pool, she is often seen wearing a pareo or other wrap around her waist, covering just enough so that the media cannot really see.

She is very, very short. How does Kim deal? She is often seen with equally short people! Or, she wears sky-high heels. But either way, Kim is a very short person. Which is why her proportions (aka her rear end) is often exagerated... but the same rear end on a very tall person would not look so large. So there it is: she's short and her curves are really not that big of a deal.

Her face is so-so. Kim has shown the media what she looks like without makeup, and she does look very nice. But she looks like every other woman in the world! What makes her face so praiseworthy all the time is only when it is literally covered in makeup - especially her eyes.

She is very, very, very high maintenance. Where do we ever see Kim? Either shopping, eating at a very expensive restaurant, or traveling for no apparent reason except to get more publicity in skimpy clothing. Or if she's not actually doing those things, she's talking about them. Well wouldn't you if you had money (you can laugh if you want)? They point is, though, that one truly wonders if Kim could be happy if she didn't have all the luxuries of life. She seems grumpy enough already, rarely smiling, always concerned about how she looks, so how would she be if she had nothing... like the rest of us? How does she cover up the fact that she's high maintenance? Well... I haven't got an answer for that one.
