Kimbo Slice is the Newest Superstar in Sports

SP
If you have watched a lot of Kimbo Slice underground fights, you know how far he has came. I'm glad he gave up street fighting to become a professional mix material arts fighter.

He paid his dues and now their paying off in the lime life.

Kimbo has gained a lot more fame and wealth but one thing hasn't changed. Kimbo Slice and his ability to send his opponents to the pavement or make them quit. Kimbo has officially made it to the top and I'm glad to see him there.

The sport will now rise and fall with him. He is the face for his sport thus making him a superstar like Tiger Woods and Lebron James. I don't know how long it will last but he now seems to be everybody's favorite fighter. I predict him taking down his next opponent who ever it may be quickly!b

When Kimbo conclusively beats someone of credibility, then he will begin to deserve his accolades. The Thompson fight was highly controversial.

Everybody hates a winner. Kimbo Slice is MMA.

The reason why Kimbo is a favorite among "regular" people is precisely because regular people know that he's not an MMA expert.
They like the idea of a novice putting these cocky guys in their place. Kimbo Slice is the ultimate underdog. An untrained, formerly homeless guy who walks into a world of elite fighters and starts taking them apart. It won't last forever but while it does, watchers will enjoy it. I don't think the MMA guys understand; people don't like you they just like to see you fight each other. People actually like Kimbo.

Are you kidding me? Kimbo Slice is the favorite fighter of fans who know little to nothing about MMA. I give him credit for training to be a real fighter, but at best he is a rising prospect. He can punch and he's got a chin, but he has terrible cardio and he'd get owned on the ground by any heavyweight in the UFC. I actually like to watch him and I generally cheer for him, but the level of hype around him is not deserved.
