Andre Arlovski was forced to come over from Affliction: Banned when an injury to his opponent Josh Barnett forced a cancellation. The winner was said to get superstar Fedor Emelianenko.
Arlovski is an explosive striker and he will take on the large and rotund Roy Nelson on the undercard. Watching chubby guys fight is always entertaining and Arlovski should have the upper hand in this one but Nelson has an outside shot with his power to land a big shot or two.
Gina Caramo is also on the card and her fights are always entertaining as she toes the line between legit fighter and celebrity a la Anna Kournikova and tennis.
Jake Shields is considered by many to be a UFC-worthy fighter and one of the best at his welterweight weight class. He takes on Paul Daley for the class title.
Finally, Maurilio "Ninja" Rua is a familiar fighter for all of the fans of Japan's old PRIDE series and he should have an entertaining fight against Benji Radach.
While Kimbo Slice is not good enough yet to match his hype and Ken Shamrock is a shell of his former self at best, this card features some interesting fighters and entertainers and it's never bad to have more MMA fights to watch, especially on prime time TV on NBC.
