Kindle DX 3rd Generation - Not Just Any EBook Reader

For many individuals unfamiliar with Kindle DX 3rd Generation, it is an eBook reader. In July 2010, the 3rd generation of Kindle DX was released. With so many excellent versions of eBook readers out there what makes the Kindle DX 3rd generation better than the rest?

For starters, the new Kindle DX has gone wireless. Like so many other forms of technology, it comes as no surprised that the Kindle DX would allow their users to connect to the Internet. With the newest version, you are able to download a book in less than sixty seconds, no more of that shuffling from computer to reader. That is not all of it. You can download anywhere with no monthly payment or contracts.

Compared to the older versions of Kindle DX, the latest version comes with a 9.7 display screen. That is a vast improvement compared to Kindle 2 with its 6 inch display screen. Another wonderful feature of the new DX is the lack of glare. The display screen gives the feeling that you are reading straight out of papered book.

It only gets better with the new E-Ink Screen. The new screen allows for clearer images and text, 50% better than the older versions. Given their size you would think the new eBook reader would be bulky, but the 3rd generation has gone slim.

The Kindle DX may be going small on the outside, but it went big on the inside. The newest version can hold up to 3,500 files.

All that alone is pretty impressive but, if you throw in the built-in PDF reader, auto-rotating screen, and the read-to-me features that are also included in the Kindle DX 3rd generation you can not help but be impressed. To make it even better than it was they now have a long-life battery that allows you to read for a week without even charging.

The Kindle DX 3rd Generation has taken eBook reading to a new level. With over 620,000 books all $9.99 or last you can not compare with any other eBook reader. To make it even more intriguing the new Kindle DX now has 1.8 million out-of-print books, and include the option to read before you buy.

With it all being so great, it is hard to find a downside. The downside of the Kindle DX is the price. For $379.00, on sale through Amazon.com, it is almost as much as a new laptop. You can twit on Twitter. You can even post on FaceBook, but you can not surf the web. That, alone, is the downfall of the new Kindle DX 3rd generation. However, if you are not into surfing the web than the new Kindle DX 3rd Generation is the eBook reader to buy. You will not find a better product anywhere on the web.
