Kingston has featured its newest memory modules with taller heatspreaders which make use of HyperX Thermal Xchange (HTX) technology to further dissipate the heat produced when overclocking. The HTX technology is the latest advancement Kingston's engineers have unveiled to offer enthusiasts and gamers the fastest memory kits, enabling this way performance boosts on their systems.
"The HyperX T1 Series heatspreaders are made of heavy-duty extruded aluminum with extended fins and HTX technology for maximum thermal conditions when users take their systems to the extreme," said Dara Sun, product manager, Kingston. "Any gamer or overclocker who intends to dominate with memory will want to use Kingston's T1 series, which is a great complement to our existing line of HyperX modules with the lower profile heatsink."
Kingston's new HyperX DDR3 kits have been designed specifically to work with Intel's new triple-channel Core i7 Processor, while working on the 2GHz, 1866- and 1800MHz frequencies. Moreover, the memory maker offers its new HyperX T1 series modules in DDR2 versions with 1066- and 800MHz front side bus speeds.
The Kingston HyperX T1 series DDR3 kits will be available in 3GB and 2GB flavors. The 3GB versions will feature the three frequencies mentioned above, and will work at a 1.65V voltage. The 2GB modules will be available only at the 2 and 1.8GHz frequencies, while working at a 2V and 1.9V voltages, respectively. The DDR2 models will come in 4GB and 2GB modules. The price will range from $55 and $177 for the DDR2 memory kits to $279-$295 for the DDR3 2GB modules and $397-$435 for the DDR3 3GB kits.
