Kirstie Alley has been struggling with her weight for what seems like forever. Kirstie can lose weight easily but she always gains the weight back and usually even then some. And although she is struggling with weight loss she is learning how to make a business out of it.

To make her money Kirstie Alley has become the most vocal spokeperson for weight loss products. The first she used and then endorsed Jenny Craig. Kirstie Alley was the spokeswoman for Jenny Craig and even lost quite a bit of weight on the product which led to bikini clad appearance on Oprah. She eventually gained the weight back and was dropped by Jenny Craig, but Alley was not done making money off the weight loss business.

Then she gets her own reality show, Kirstie Alley's Big Life, which will chronicle her current weight loss journey. This time she is announcing her own weight loss product to the market, which her show will be the big ad for.

Kirstie Alley's new weight loss product is a "magic" "elixir" that will cater to the "average overweight American." Alley claims to have dropped 20 pounds in the last eight weeks using her new product.

She is clearly setting herself up to make even more money off of weight loss. Alley explains how she has been struggling and searching for the right answer:

"Im not a doctor or a nutritionist - I'm a regular person like you who has been struggling with her weight and searching and praying for a weight loss program to end that forever."

Jenny Craig didn't work. Maybe her new magic solution will? Either way, Kirstie Alley has set herself up to use weight loss as a career. Her new company is name Organic Liason and will develop a line of weight loss products. One of the products is Rescue Me and will help battle excess hunger and cravings. She explained the product:

"It will support your body and flood your body with the missing elements that make weight loss an uphill battle."

As of yet, Alley still needs to lose quite a bit of weight before anyone considers her new product effective and will buy it. Just another celeb selling a weight loss product, but this time there is no proof that it works. However, Kirstie Alley continues to plod along and try to make money off of losing weight. And no doubt there will be many people watching her journey.

Kirsti Alley's Big Life premieres on March 21st on the A&E network.
