Kiss Me, I'm Irish

Tracy DeLuca
Kiss me, I'm Irish

On this one special day

when the Wild Rover travels

to America to stay.

Kiss me, I'm Irish

I'm wearing green panties,

my shamrock is dancing

and my leprechaun plays.

Kiss me, I'm Irish

Today I drink green

I eat cabbage and potatoes

and I dance and I dream.

Kiss me, I'm Irish

I'll jig at the parade,

I'll listen to bag pipes

and give Guinness a shot.

Kiss me, I'm Irish

Don't blink or I'll change

The fey often wander

but never remain.
