Kiss by a Rose

Mother's Day Poem

Opera Diva
One day a breeze of air danced around me.

It told me that I should seek and look in the vineyard to see the rose who wanted to speak with me. The breeze told me to follow the golden rode down ahead to lead me to a garden. There would be a red rose that would be in the center of the golden house. The breeze also told me that the rose will give me a riddle and that I have to figure it out in order for it to give me the diamond in the center of the garden that I needed.

Finally, I'm there standing at the entrance to see a white tall fence decorated with green rope vines entwined through it. Transparent dandelions and roses are dancing swiftly on each side of the fence leading me to golden house. Where I was is gloomy and cloudy, but it seems bright and clear in the garden as shiny as a pearl the closer I walked to the golden house. It was enchanting to see this place of beauty. Standing in the garden was the rose.

She says, "Come in my child". I came to her. She gives me the riddle and this is what she said.

I AM SMALL. I ONLY CAN SEE THE REDDISH WALLS THAT IS AROUND ME. I AM ALONE. HOWEVER, I FEEL CONNECTED AND SAFE. FINALLY, I FOUND OUT THAT WHAT I THOUGHT WAS JUST A RED WALL WAS THE PERSON THAT WAS WITH ME ALL ALONG..

After she told me the riddle, I said, "I know what this means. It means there is a baby inside of a mother. The baby feels connected because the cord is the liaison between the mother and the child.

The rose says your right. Finally the rose blows me a kiss of enlightenment. Then the rose walks in the center of the garden and says, "Open!" A shiny glow magnifies greatly to the point that I could not see anything but the rose. The jewel comes out of the ground as beautiful as ever. She gave me the jewel, which was the diamond.

The diamond was you.
