Kmart has a new rewards card that is, in my opinion, better than any other retail store's reward card. With Kmart's Shop Your Way Rewards Card you not only save money and receive coupons but you also get cash back for future purchases. When you sign up for Kmart's reward card you receive one key fob card and one standard size card.

What are the Benefits of Kmart's Shop Your Way Rewards Card?

You earn 1% cash back on all of your purchases. These rewards can stay on your card or you can use them with each shopping purchase.

You can earn extra rewards during exclusive Kmart promotions. You can manage your account online and receive the email alerts for these promotions. Kmart's K'Ching Surprise is another great bonus of the rewards card.

Another excellent benefit of the Kmart reward card is that as long as you use your card for your purchases then that item is recorded. If you have to return the item then you don't need to scramble to find your receipt.

Where Can I use Kmart's Shop Your Way Rewards Card?

You can use Kmart's reward card at both Kmart and Sears' stores. The Sears' stores include Sears Grand, Sears Essentials, Sears Hometown, Sears Home Appliances Showrooms, Sears Hardware, Sears Outlet, and Sears Auto Centers. Like most rewards cards all you have to do is present it and let the cashier scan the bar code on the back of the card. If you forget your card it can be looked up with either your phone number or email address.

You can also use your rewards card at kmart.com, sears.com, craftsman.com, or mygofer.com by submitting the account number and pin number on the back of your card before checkout.

What is a K'Ching Surprise?

One Kmart promotion is the K'Ching Surprise. Every time you use your reward card it automatically enters you for a chance to win their K'Ching Surprise. K'Ching Surprises range from an autographed Jonas Brothers guitar, a $5,000 home appliance makeover, a Sony blu-ray player, and a $2,000 Affinity washer and dryer set.

How to Use My Kmart's Shop Your Way Rewards?

You can save your cash back rewards and use it all on one purchase. I'm going to try to save mine until next Christmas and use the cash back as mini savings account. I also know that my washer will soon need to be replaced so I'm going to plan ahead and watch for sales on appliances at both Sears and Kmart.

You can also use your cash back rewards on your next purchase. There is no minimum to redeem your reward. Getting a little discount with each shopping trip will make it easier to stretch a budget.

I do much of my grocery shopping at SuperK and I spend $100-$200 a month just on groceries there. With the 1% cash back bonus that equates to $12-$24 a year in cash back reward money. This is not much but added with some home, gardening, electronics, or clothing purchases and the cash back money could really add up.
