The Knotty Pine Delight chalet offers 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, one on each floor. Each bedroom has a King size bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area just off the kitchen, a living room with a gas fireplace, and at one end of the living room is a full-size pool table. One entire wall on this floor has glass windows from top to bottom which provides an outstanding view of Mt. LeConte.
The loft area of the chalet features the second bedroom and bathroom. It is equipped with a beautiful King bed which faces the floor to ceiling windows and provides a remarkable morning view of the mountains! The loft has its own private bath as well as a Jacuzzi Tub. Looking up to the ceiling from the loft, you can view the beautiful woodwork that makes this chalet such a stunner!
Outside there is a full deck with lounge chairs and a charcoal grill. Around the corner on the side deck is a hot tub. On this deck you are tucked away from all the noise and clatter of the city and can relax in a beautiful woodland hide-away.
If you should tire of all the beauty outdoors, there are two televisions with satellite receivers as well as DVD/VCR combos. There is also high speed internet service as well as unlimited long distance phone calls if you want to talk to someone back home and let them know what a great time you are having at the Knotty Pine Delight in Gatlinburg!
The community of Gatlinburg is only 2 miles long and 5 miles wide, according to the Chamber of Commerce, but it boasts a wide variety of activities. You can visit, not only the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but you could also play some "Hillbilly Golf", or visit "Obergatlinburg Amusement Park". "Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies" is also a must-see on a visit to Gatlinburg. And if you are a "Dukes of Hazard" fan, you won't want to miss a visit to "Cooter's Place".
After spending only a few days in Gatlinburg, we decided we definitely need to plan an extended vacation next time. We will be sure to stay at the Knotty Pine Delight chalet again!

Post a CommentA vacation in the Smokey Mountains in the Fall this place sounds beautiful!!! < shaking piggy bank and dreaming.....> :)
Sounds like a wonderful place to stay. That area is beautiful - my mama's people are from the next county over so I've spent a lot of time in the Smoky Mountains.
This sounds so lovely. It's also right up my alley.
Sounds refreshing!
So beautiful, thanks!!!!
The Smoky Mountains is our favorite vacation spot - I'll have to make a reservation for the Knotty Pine Delight for our next visit.
You've described this so vividly that I really would love to plan an escape there, for a few days or more :)
