What makes you shine
And delights your soul?
Everyone has a special gift.
Just find your spot,
And make it swift!

Is that stardust in your eyes?

Everyone has the seed of stardom inside.

Since my children were born, they have heard me preach the same sermon. Basically, it's become a sort of mantra in our family.

Ready? Here it is:

"Everyone is good at something, and no one is good at everything."

Guess what? It's true!

Let's ask the question again. Are you born to be a star! Yes, of course you are!

Everyone is born for stardom. The challenge is to find your own niche. How are you wired? What makes your heart soar? Where can you shine the brightest?

Find your spot.

Are you a tumbler, a high-jumper or a super-speedy sprinter? Ready, set go!

Can you crochet, knit or sew? Keep them in stitches!

Does mathematics turn you on? Go figure!

Are you a natural born leader? Follow your calling!

Can you sing a lovely solo? Let 'er rip!

Do people say you have a wonderful way with words? Speak up!

Are you the fastest swimmer on the whole team? Dive right in!

Can you reach out and catch a touchdown pass? Take the ball and run with it!

Do your friends ask for your mechanical expertise when their cars break down? Rev it up!

Are you the class clown, always making jokes and pulling pranks? Humor them!

Can you recite the entire periodic table of elements from memory? Iron out your fate!

Does a school spelling bee excite you? Be letter perfect!

Are you a shoe-in for the lead in the school musical each year? Head for the footlights!

Can you memorize prodigious amounts of information easily? Use your head!

Do animals naturally trust you more than other people? Fur sure!

Are young children drawn to you? Be a kid at heart!

Can you debug and fix all your friends' computer problems? Program your future!

Do you have the creative ability to make up stories that entertain others? Write your own story!

See? You can surely be a star. You just have to find the right galaxy in which you can shine best. Once you find your spot, everyone will be amazed by your brilliance!
