Have you been through a series of attacks and got to the point where you finally said "I have had enough of this, something has got to give!"? Well in Psalm 3:7 King David finally hit this point, dealing with the storm of the conflict with his son Absalom.
When the end of the proverbial rope is reached in our situation this is when we shout to the LORD for our deliverance, telling Him what we want and need. We ask for justice, for we know that we are being pursued by malicious forces.
Calling out to God for deliverance from our situation in faith believing is exactly what David did. David knew his Father holds the power to smite his enemies if David asked. Even Joshua knew that God would deliver him and the Israelites in battle, his conviction was so strong that when Joshua called out to the LORD to make the sun and moon stand still until the battle was won, God honored his request! (Joshua 10:12)
King Hezekiah of Judah also knew that God was a deliverer. The LORD handed Hezekiah a death sentence through the prophet Isaiah. King Hezekiah not ready to die yet called upon the LORD to deliver him from this immediate death sentence. God heard Hezekiah's call and sent Isaiah to him to let Hezekiah know his life would be extended for another 15 years! (2 Kings 20:1-11; Isaiah 38)
"Is anything too hard for the LORD?" - Genesis 18:14a
The answer is NO. God is known as the Almighty because He is Mighty in All things. Since He is Mighty in All things, He can surely deliver us from any storm. So God asks for a second time:
"I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?" - Jeremiah 32:27 NIV
Answer God by calling out to Him with exactly what we need and want, expecting for Him to deliver.
