Knowledge is Power of Your Destiny!

Give Yourself a Chance

Long time ago I read a book of healing arts, saying that it describes some interesting techniques. I studied this book with pencil in hand. During my enthusiastic reading, I initially imagined that the author was describing knowledge and experience unique to him. It took me a long time to research an enormous amount of related literature on healing, after which I came to the conclusion that nothing new has been discovered. Everything about the rules of healing has been known for a long time. The information accumulated by previous generations has been carried in waves to the new, more modern, way of understanding.

We must create a chain of knowledge. We are responsible for the transmission to our children and grandchildren of our experience and our ability to love all the things on earth. We are responsible for the creation our own destiny. My parents gave me the first lessons of respect towards Nature and utilization of its gifts. "Do not tear, break, but plant and help, and the compensation will come. If you hurt yourself, do not run after help, but put on a leaflet of a plantain; if you have a fever, drink a lime tea; if you get a small sunburn, put some sour cream on it; if it's too strong, dilute with some of your own urine or vegetable oil." Such lessons taught me and my siblings to rely more on Nature and ourselves rather than depend every minute on medicine. Ever since I have transmitted my experiences as well as those of my parents to the next generation, I cannot allow the chain of knowledge to stop.

We are able to explain some superstitions from both scientific and lay perspectives. Some of them no longer make sense, as the origins of their creation are lost in the whirl of history. On the other hand, we can say that some part of this knowledge is yet to be re-discovered. For example, does anyone remember how to cure tuberculosis? Since ancient times it has been known that kumis, a drink prepared from fermented mare's milk, is a healing remedy for tuberculosis. The combination of inhaling fresh air with the drink of kumiss leads to astonishing results.

Also, what about healthy walks barefoot on the early morning's dew? Perhaps you will even take the chance to lie on the grass. Use your free time for enrichment of your energy potential through communion with Nature. Communion with Nature must become a norm and be included in our daily routine instead of being a diversion only permitted on holidays. You do not have to be afraid of touching trees. It is so good to commune with Nature alone. Speak to a tree and you will receive answers to all your problems, if you only allow time for your soul to come in contact with it. Talk to it politely, with reverence, and the rewards will come.

Everyone must develop a basic knowledge and cultivate his or her abilities to pose honest questions and not be afraid of the answers. We must also prepare to seek second opinions or advice from alternative medical practitioners. This is an option which has been a taboo among the people of Western civilization for centuries, but it is increasingly being chosen now.

Knowledge is power! This power is inside each one of us! It's inside of you. You have the capability and responsibility to make wise decisions. Ignorance breeds fear. Give yourself a chance to get rid of your fear of the unknown. You are Creator of Your Own Destiny! Ancient healing arts and modern medicine are not necessarily enemies; they can compliment each other. Don't be afraid to understand, learn about yourself and help yourself!
