Summer is almost here, and it is time for good old barbecue. However, if you do not want to do it yourself, here are a few restaurants that will be glad to help you out.

First is M&M Catering in Knoxville Tennessee. Located at two locations: 7409 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville Tennessee 37909, 865692-1003 and also at 1031 Summer Wood Drive, Knoxville Tennessee 37923, 865-357-3190. This is some of the most mouth watering delicious barbecue you will ever eat. You can get, of course, individual servings or family deals. Just remember, you are in the south; when they say "individual" servings, plan on it serving two or three by itself. Their sauce comes in mild and hot (not extremely hot but enough that your tongue knows it is there).

The next in Chandler's Deli located at 3101 Magnolia Avenue, Knoxville Tennessee 37914, 865-595-0212 or visit them at www.chandlersstore.com. Let me tell you this place has it all from pulled pork barbecue to pigs feet; yes, pigs feet. They also offer catfish and some of the best side dishes you could ever put in your mouth. And definitely leave room for dessert (ha ha) because the have anything from peach cobbler to a five flavor pound cake. Um um!

Now if you are still hungry for more barbecue, you may want to consider the Hokey Smokey Barbecue located at 615 State Street, Knoxville Tennessee 37902, 865-546-3398. The name sounds a little funny, but the barbecue is nothing to laugh at. You will not have time to laugh since you will be dining on some of the finest barbecue ever tasted. Just make sure to have plenty of napkins on hand.

So, the next time you are in Knoxville Tennessee, enjoy some of the food of the south...barbecue. You will sure be glad you did. Happy eating.
